Learning methodology and ICT in different learning spaces.

This mobility took place  in different learning spaces: school; neighbourhood; landscape, city and history "lab"; teachers meetings. We visited many different places and then met up in school and created visual (video) and written (article) reports on what we had experienced, partly in internationally mixed groups, partially in country groups.

The approach used was highly practical, based on collaborative and creative work. Field studies by questioning. Cultural learning in action (group dynamics). Research methodology for project work with students on the question "How, Where, What do I Learn". The activities were reported in different learning spaces (formal vs. non-formal learning) as post cards, videos, articles etc. The process was

was done with collaborative work and the use of ICT (mainly GoogleDrive, and other open platforms).

Results: At the end of the mobility, every work group had created products using new technologies in different subjects: digital pamphlets explaining learning /teaching practices, etc.), a video report about learning

methodologies in different learning spaces, to be published on a Youtube channel:  "The world is a place of learning" and articles which can be published at the end of the project. Cultural awareness. Partnership with the Town Hall of Seixal was used as one dissemination activity.

All the project activities are planned to be related to or integrated with the normal activities of the involved schools. Most of our goals are the same:

emphasis on internationalisation and integrating IT into teaching, teach across subject borders and enable students to become active citizens in defence of healthy relationships. The students will cooperate with our culture and develop tolerance towards differences.

A link between our cultures was established, through research before the mobility: We chose our learning spaces by linking them to the visiting countries,  opening the way to explore/visit partners' historical spaces and cultural aspects in Portugal "Our historical links, our union, our future..."  Examples: King of Portugal, Fernando II, born in Austria, was one of the builders of the Pena Palace, Sintra. The Italian King Humberto II lived for a long time in Villa Italia, Cascais. Lithuania and Portugal have a noun, not a verb, to describe the feeling to miss someone or something ilgesys / saudade. The Finnish Marchel Mannerheim was in Portugal in 1945 for some time.

When the students were engaged in dynamics, the teachers held a meeting where they presented their favourite teaching methods to each other and to some invited guests.
